Wait One – Josh Prado of Buddy Check and VETD Talent Network Joins US on Knucklehead Podcast
Business and opportunities operate at the speed of trust and referrals. We live life where information is now a free-flowing commodity that can benefit us in ways we cannot imagine thanks to the power of social media and innovation. It’s in this environment that extroverts thrive through creating events that involve networking, connecting, and sharing themselves as a service.
Enter Josh Dominic Prado, an extroverted Navy veteran who serves to connect the people he meets around him, namely fellow veterans who are in the transitioning process of leaving the military.
Oftentimes, veterans have trouble finding a task and purpose along with meaningful work that they can do when they contemplate exiting the military, moving onto a well paying civilian career and life beyond service.
Josh is often the finder of solutions for these veterans or at times the direct solution that veterans need when they begin to seek assistance in transitioning. Josh as an extrovert is able to connect people in order for them to succeed in whatever they are aiming for, whether it’s a business or seeking a good job opportunity in the civilian world.
While he is successfully connecting people to opportunities for a living, the journey towards doing what he’s most passionate about has been pockmarked with many Knucklehead moments.
From not being a great college student to serving in the Navy, to struggling with finding a meaningful mission after leaving the Navy, Josh has noted that failure is something common and that everyone needs to get used to in order to grow and ultimately succeed in the long run.
These adverse moments are the very reasons how Josh has become the go to individual for veterans who realize that transitioning is a team process involving many who can help them instead of themselves as Josh realized in his own journey.
Tune in to this episode of the Knucklehead Podcast as Josh talks about creating opportunities for veterans through networking events, his Knucklehead moments leading up to where he is, and how those transitioning from the service can connect with him in order to start their post military journey!
